Step-by-Step Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) Instructions

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is used to assess mineral patterns, stress load, and metabolic balance. Accurate sample collection is essential to ensure reliable and meaningful results.

Please follow the steps below carefully before sending your sample to the laboratory.

Step-by-Step HTMA Instructions

Step 1: Print & complete the HTMA Request Form

Complete all sections of the form before packaging your sample.

Step 2: Collect your hair sample

  • Cut a clean hair sample from the nape of your neck (back of the head, close to the scalp)

  • Use hair that is undyed and not chemically treated

  • The sample should represent your natural hair growth

If your hair has been dyed or chemically treated, please seek guidance before collecting your sample.

Step 3: Wrap the hair sample

  • Wrap the hair in a paper envelope or plain paper

  • Do not use plastic, as this may affect the sample

You can download a printable paper envelope here.
